It is possible that they can encourage less driving, a greater sense of community, and even healthier communities. OP, I also love the countrystyle names, as we live in podunk/farmland, NC. In our small world/town some of the names you brought up just wouldn't fit. I'm not saying name your kid so he'll blend in, but I do think that perhaps Mckennon is better as a middle name. I personally like Silas (it sounds strong and rugged), and as suggestions, I'd be a fan ofColter, Rhyder, Walker (but that just makes me think of coonhounds). Quaid, Tanner, Tucker, Tennessee (as in Williams), and lastly, I LOVE the name Ruger (as in the gun). So cute for a kid (nn Rue) and strong as an adult.
